About Claire Houston

Hi! My name is Claire Houston and I've been loving to make people look and feel beautiful for as long as I can remember. Makeup became my passion in 2007 living in Portland and I kept pursuing it over the years, working on my artistry skills. After graduating from cosmetology school in 2015, I moved to San Diego soon after in 2016 and began growing my clientele in the city I fell in love with! When I first moved here I worked for Dior, onto MAC and then transitioned to Chanel. I have experience and training working for various beauty brands. During these years, I gained artistry skills learning alongside some of this city's greatest makeup artists and now call them some of my best friends!

Although there are many talented artists in San Diego you could choose to book for a special event, many clients would say they rebook with me time and time again because of their special experience and leaving the chair feeling like their beauty is enhanced giving them the extra confidence they need while feeling like themselves! I tailor my style along with yours to create a look you feel best in. My personal favorite part of the makeup routine starts with skin prep.

As of June 2023, I welcomed my beautiful baby girl Aniyah into the world with my boyfriend Keem. We live here in San Diego with our family and now dedicate my life to loving this little angel. We couldn't be more in love with her!
